OUR CLIENT REQUIRES: Provide support to management through the completion of monthly management reports and analyses with commentaries. Maintain and update financial models to support key projects, financial assessment, and financial systems to process local invoices. Drive effective cash and working capital management to maximise returns and minimise interest expenses. Cash flow analysis and modelling are key ingredients in this position. Provide processes to evaluate and manage local business risks. This includes implementation of appropriate credit management and limits of authorities aligned with the regional framework. Set appropriate processes and systems to monitor and control business operations effectively. Drive and lead key financial processes such as reporting, budgets, financial forecasts, capital expenditure evaluations, cost improvement and local business process changes. Ensure that your department and related functions in all countries have the organisational structure and management capability to achieve the business objectives.
There are several countries in the ASEAN region that fall under your responsibility in the new role of Regional Accounting & Finance Manager. You will report directly to the CEO (non-Thai) who is also located in Bangkok.
You must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Integrity and the ability to understand the business requirements and to provide sound financial advice to the CEO are essential elements of the job. Another key element is your ability to lead and motivate the accounting and finance team to achieve functional excellence and be a change agent to lead the function towards a better efficiency.

Degree in accounting and/or finance plus CPA with over ten years' work experience as the leader of an accounting and finance team. Regional experience, meaning managing the accounting and finance teams in countries in the ASEAN. Experience from the advertising industry a major advantage otherwise work experience from a service industry. Change management experience to upgrade the skill set of staff as well as improve efficiency through lean methods. Thai national with excellent English speaking and writing skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Our client is one of the oldest in the advertising agency business in Thailand and is still going strong. They have some well-known international brand names in their client portfolio.
Their office is in the central business district in a five-star building with access to public transport, fantastic shopping facilities and hundreds of caf?'s and restaurants. Just a dream of a work place for any hip advertising executive.
