OUR CLIENT REQUIRES: Develop new product distribution pipelines and networks. Track the progress of each sales opportunity, provide frequent market/sales forecast updates and provide overall market feedback and analysis. Prepare documentation and deliver presentations and product introductions to new and existing customers. Work with the management team to set the annual budget and to devise suitable sales and marketing strategies to grow the business and achieve the budget. Disseminate the company business plan to distributors and ensure adherence to the plan. Analyse market trends and customer insight and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback. Plan and execute all web, marketing database, email, social media, display, print and broadcast advertising and promotional campaigns. Organise and participate in selected exhibitions.
You report directly to the Managing Director (European expat) and manage a team of two people who work in support, sales administration and customer service.
Sales is channeled through a network of distributors across the region, and the world for that matter.
This is where you come into the picture - if you think you know how to manage and motivate distributors to sell through retail and directly to the end-users (mainly farmers), we want to talk to you. It's important to say that we are not looking for a farmer or key account manager; we want to talk to a hunter, a person who likes to work alone in the market without staff responsibility. Someone who gets a kick out of being on the road most of the time, who loves meeting new people and who loves a good deal.
Thai national with years of experience in sales and marketing and managing business through a national and international network of distributors. Knowledge of working with push and pull strategies to engage with your distributors and the end-users (mainly farmers). Previous experience in the hardware or agricultural industry would be an advantage but not essential. Good written and spoken English, enough to do business in other countries. You must bring your own car and live in the Bangna-Trad, Bangplee, Samutprakan, or Chonburi area to be within an hour of the office. Able to travel frequently in the ASEAN region. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Highly creative with experience in identifying target customers (end-users) and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate. Experience leading and managing online, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising print and air campaigns. Work experience with ASEAN countries such as Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, as well as Sri Lanka. Hard working, assertive, results-oriented, responsible with the ability to work independently. Accurate, precise, prompt, motivated and resourceful. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
